Descriptive Notes: After my return from Germany, where I had a scholarship to study art at the Munich Academy under the supervision of Ernst Guitlinger who was a student of Paul Klee, this painting through influenced by the German abstract artist Fritz Winter, consolidated my direction towards abstract art.

Descriptive Notes: These photos exemplify the strength that Saghir's sculptures hold. Black & white photos taken show how this sculpture looked prior to the civil war in Lebanon. The photos in color show how it currently looks, still firmly standing amongst the surrounding rubble after being riddled with bullets and hit with a rocket.
